Take a tour of the natural beauties that stretch on the west coast of Istria.
The coastal area of Vrsar consists of 18 islands and islets.
The Lim Channel, a protected area of the Istrian coast, reaches 12.8 km inland, and with the dry part of the Limska Draga below, the total length is about 35 km. At the entrance, its width is 600 m, in the middle about 400 m, and at the end about 200 m. Along the shores of the Lim Channel is the Pirate Cave where, according to legend, lived a popular pirate - Captain Morgan.
Rovinj, the most famous Istrian tourist destination, a romantic Istrian town, will delight you at first.
The island world around Rovinj is also impressive. 22 islands and islets lie on the coast in the sea and enchant with their unique beauty and magnificent nature. The largest of these islands is Red Island, Red Island, covering an area of 23 hectares. It actually consists of two islands, the islands of Maškin and St. Andrew, where there is even a Benedictine monastery and a small castle.
